A 4-bedroom family house standing in the very desirable Hillcrest Road area with a private sunny garden of good size, a garage and generous living space including two excellent reception rooms and a 19' kitchen-breakfast room.
The house enjoys a mature setting that is extremely well placed for the main amenities in town centre including the High Street and Crown Glass Shopping Centre, Nailsea School, health centres and the Scotch Horn leisure centre.
Still known affectionately by many as ‘the village’, Nailsea is the smallest of the four North Somerset towns but the most conveniently placed for Bristol at just 8 miles from the city. There is high employment and the local schools are good.
Though well set for the commuter, Nailsea is surrounded by pretty North Somerset countryside but with easy access to other major centres in the area and access to the SUSTRANS national cycle network with an easy route to Bristol and other destinations. Junctions 19 and 20 of the M5 are less than 6 miles giving easy access to the country’s motorway network and a main line rail connection is available at Nailsea and Backwell Station which is within walking distance with direct trains to Bristol, Filton-Abbeywood, Bath and London-Paddington.
This very deceptive house offers well proportioned accommodation with the front door opening to a traditional reception hall with a cloakroom off.
The living room is superb and has a fireplace with a wood burning stove inset. Light streams into this room but that is very much a feature of the house which has an airy feel.
The dining room or family room is also spacious and the outlook from here is to the private rear garden with a door leading to the 19' 5" (5.92m ) kitchen breakfast room that has space for a breakfast table, a good range of wall and floor cupboards and an ample appliance space. A door leads from here to the deck and rear gardens and a further door leads to a utility area with the garage beyond.
On the first floor the accommodation includes 4 bedrooms, two double rooms and two single rooms with the principal area having a dressing area complete with fitted wardrobes. There is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and usefully given the size of the house a separate W.C.
Throughout there is good built in storage space and three of the bedrooms have built in/fitted wardrobes.
The block paved drive at the front provides parking and leads to a substantial attached garage with light, power, a wall mounted combi boiler and a sink.
The rear garden is very attractive, mature and well designed with a deck area, level lawn and gravelled areas. A selection of specimen shrubs and bushes add colour and the garden is fully enclosed with timber panel fencing.
Gas central heating, uPVC double glazing. All mains services. Hi speed broadband and the option of super fast cable broadband (upto 600mb download speeds), TV and telephone services.
