We recently found a great software application that can be downloaded FREE and easily. It monitors web sites of your choice and lets you know when those web sites or pages have been updated.

Using WebMon saves lots of time trawling through web sites looking for any changes, all the work is done for you once you have entered the web site addresses or web page addresses that you want to keep an eye on.

There is no registration process, so no spam and no pop up adverts.

WebMon is a third party application that is not supported by Henson, Burdge & Evans. We do not provide technical support or assistance for WebMon but you really shouldn't need any anyway, it really is very simple.

Downloading instructions

WebMon runs on Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP. WebMon's help system uses Microsoft's HTML-Help, which requires Internet Explorer to be installed.

The latest version of WebMon is 1.0.10 (download size 767Kb).

Download the set-up program to a suitable directory (usually C:\ Program Files) on your hard disk, then install by double-clicking on the downloaded file.

Follow the instructions in the set-up program and WebMon will be automatically installed.

You don't need to uninstall before upgrading - just close WebMon by right-clicking its tray icon and selecting Exit.

Press the F1 key, or use the Help menu to get help when using WebMon.

WebMon can be removed using the Add/Remove Programs function in Control Panel.

When you have installed WebMon you enter the page addresses you want to watch - ours looks like this..
